“Quantum Leap” Nabs Early Post-Strike Return

NBC, the only broadcast Network with new scripted dramas airing over the strike period has pushed Quantum Leap higher up on its returns slate this January.

The show returns with the remaining episodes of Season two on Tuesday, Jan. 30 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

The season is expected to conclude with a 2-hour finale on Feb. 20 from 9-11 p.m. with all episodes streaming the next day on NBC’s streaming channel Peacock.

Quantum Leap, a reboot of the iconic 80’s sci-fi drama stars Raymond Lee, Caitlin Bassett, Ernie Hudson, Mason Alexander Park and Nanrisa Lee. The series follows the adventures of a new team of scientists led by led by physicist Ben Song (Lee), assembled some 30 years after the disappearance of Dr. Sam Beckett (Scott Bakula), in order to restart the project in the hope of understanding the mysteries behind the machine and the man who created it.

Everything changes, however, when Ben makes an unauthorized leap into the past, leaving the team behind to solve the mystery of why he did it. 

Martin Gero and Dean Georgaris serve as executive producers on Quantum Leap along with Deborah Pratt, Chris Grismer, Alex Berger, Steven Lilien and Bryan Wynbrandt.

The series is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, in association with Quinn’s House Productions.
