FOX is the latest broadcaster to tweak its primetime slate amid scheduling chaos this Fall.

As writers and actors continue to strike, broadcasters are searching for ways to keep their fans (and advertisers) happy over the coming months.

To date, FOX’s alterations to its Fall line up are minor. Chief among the changes is the rescheduling of I Can See Your Voice, originally set to air Tuesday, Sept. 19, to Mid-Season.

In its place? Reruns of the Rob Lowe and Gina Torres-starring First Responder drama 9-1-1: Lone Star.

Meanwhile, sister series 9-1-1 is also on the move — to ABC — where the long-running procedural is set to kick off a seventh season as part of ABC’s 2023/24 programming slate.

This season, FOX unveils a new animated series from Dan Harmon, Krapopolis, starring Matt Berry (What We Do in the Shadows), Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso), Richard Ayoade (The IT Crowd), Pam Murphy (Mapleworth Murders) and Duncan Trussell (The Midnight Gospel).

The series tells the story of a dysfunctional family of humans, gods and monsters trying to run one of the world’s first cities, while also trying their best to not kill each other in the process. It kicks off Sunday, Sept. 24 immediately following the NFL Doubleheader.

Note: the show makes its regular time period premiere on Sunday, Oct. 1.

Also new to the schedule is Snake Oil, a game show hosted by David Spade in which contestants are pitched unique products by convincing entrepreneurs – some of whom are showcasing real business ventures, while the others are “Snake Oil Salesmen,” whose products are fake. With the help of guest celebrity advisors, contestants must determine which products are real and which are a sham, for a chance to win life-changing money.
