A new trailer for the third movie in the Quiet Place trilogy has been released.
With a focus on events of day one of the terrifying alien invasion that decimates mankind, A Quiet Place: Day One serves as a prequel movie, and stars Lupita Nyong’o (Us, Black Panther), Alex Wolff (Hereditary) and Joseph Quinn (Stranger Things).
Djimon Hounsou (Gladiator) who appeared in A Quiet Place II also makes a return.
The original moves starred Emily Blunt and John Krasinski as parents who struggle to survive and keep their family (played by Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe) together in a post-apocalyptic world inhabited by blind but lethal extraterrestrial creatures with an acute sense of hearing.
However this latest film will take fans back to day one of the invasion, offering perspectives from new characters.
Kransinski, who directed the first two instalments, now produces with Michael Sarnoski in the director’s chair. Krasinski produces alongside Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller.
The film is produced by Paramount Pictures, Platinum Dunes and Sunday Night Productions.
A Quiet Place: Day One opens in theatres on June 28, 2024.
