The Umbrella Academy will return to Netflix for a fourth and final season on August 8, 2024, after a 2 year absence.
Season 3 ended on quite the cliffhanger, with the gang accidentally creating a new timeline in which the Academy doesn’t exist, and nor do their super powers.
We say ‘accidentally’ of course, but we learned in the finale episode that Sr. Reginald Hargreeves is the ultimate orchestrator of Luther, Diego, Allison, Ben, Klaus, and Five’s current predicament, and the alternative timeline seems very Reggie-themed.
Netflix teases that in this new timeline, the stakes are higher than ever before. There are new enemies who want to see our reluctant heroes wiped from existence. But how will they face them without their powers? And will the siblings ever get them back?
