The cast of Netflix’s Umbrella Academy has been talking up the fourth and final season of the series, due to stream sometime in 2024.
Gathering for Netflix’s annual Geeked Week, the gang teased new villains, surprises, and the usual “wacky” family shenanigans fans have come to expect from the series.
Both Ritu Arya (Lila) and David Castañeda (Diego) claim the upcoming season is the show’s best yet, while Emmy Raver-Lampman (Alison) teases a season “packed with the classic Umbrella Academy nonsense and shenanigans that you look forward to.”
Tom Hopper (Luther) tells fans the show will “hit the ground running pretty quickly in scenes that will put the siblings through the usual amount of mayhem.”
“Bitter-sweet. Precise. Exciting,” is how David Castañeda sums up the final episodes, while Justin H. Min (Ben) thinks “sexy” is the best word to describe it.
“Twists, turns, action!” says Elliott Page (Vanya) and while Aidan Gallagher (Five) admits the need to dance around “getting people excited without saying anything” it is perhaps Robert Sheehan (Klaus) who sums up expectations perfectly.
“Fans! Expect nothing and you will gain everything!” says Sheehan in the video below.
